This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Pizza Chef / Pizzaiolo to join the team at Department. Working as an extension of the bakery team and reporting directly to the Head Baker, you will play a key role in delivering consistently high-quality pizzas and dough-based products. You will share our commitment to delivering an outstanding customer experience and take real pride in ensuring quality and consistency of every dish produced.
You will:
- be fully responsible for your section, ensuring quality and consistency of food during all stages of production;
- work closely with the bakery team to prepare, ferment and manage dough to the highest standard;
- bring proven experience working with pizza dough, fermentation and dough handling techniques;
- participate in the HACCP procedures according to the company’s Food Safety Management System;
- have a ‘can do’ approach and a willingness to undertake a range of kitchen tasks, including food prep, when required.
About You
You will love working with fresh ingredients from around the world and learning new processes and techniques. An excellent team player, you will be willing to share your skills and experience with others. You will have previous experience working within a similar role and environment, with strong knowledge of dough preparation, fermentation and pizza production. You will be keen to learn, develop and progress within a growing team.
