The Role

As General Manager you will be responsible for managing the overall daily operations including:

  • managing and developing staff
  • maintaining and developing product and service standards ensuring outstanding customer experience
  • ensuring the efficient management of premises, general housekeeping and health and safety, across all departments
  • contributing to financial targets

You will use your knowledge and experience to ensure sales and profitability are maximised and costs are controlled.

About You

You will:

  • have experience of working within a similar role and environment, where quality and consistency go hand in hand
  • be able to maximise the potential of a large external area, including seasonal trading and events
  • have experience working within a large scale wet-led operation
  • have the ability to use various back of house systems, manage budgets, control costs and drive profitability
  • be proactive with the ability to keep on top of work-flows and systems
  • be a natural leader, with the ability to motivate, energise and develop your team within a fast-paced environment
  • have an eye for detail in every aspect of the venue operation including health and safety, premises management
  • have a passion for hospitality and keep on top of industry trends and developments
