The Role
As Driver, you’ll play an essential role in our day-to-day operations, ensuring the safe, timely and professional delivery of our freshly baked goods — including cookies and doughnuts — from our central bakery to our café site and other locations. You’ll be the link between our production team and our customers, representing the brand on the road and making sure every delivery is handled with care, efficiency and a positive attitude.
In this role you will:
- Carry out daily deliveries from our bakery to our café, partners and events;
- Load and unload products safely, ensuring items arrive in perfect condition and on schedule;
- Carry out vehicle checks and report any issues promptly to maintain safety and roadworthiness;
- Communicate clearly with the production and operations teams regarding delivery schedules and any delays or issues;
- Represent the company professionally at all times — being punctual, friendly and helpful;
- Assist with occasional event setups, stock movements or collections as needed;
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the vehicle at all times.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- A full, clean UK driving licence and experience in a similar driving or delivery role;
- Excellent timekeeping and reliability, with a flexible and can-do approach to your work;
- Confidence driving a small van and navigating efficiently;
- Strong attention to detail and care when handling fragile or perishable products;
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team;
- A polite, professional manner and pride in representing a growing independent brand;
- A positive attitude and willingness to help out where needed across the wider team.
