WHY THIS COMPANY AND ROLE
Zanda is partnering with a well-established, VC-backed healthtech scale-up with a strong recurring revenue model and a clear market-leading position. As it moves into new areas of healthcare, the business needs a commercial finance leader to partner the executive team, sharpen reporting and bring commercial rigour to a fast-moving, mission-driven leadership team. You’ll join a data-strong finance team, so the focus is on insight and influence rather than building spreadsheets.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Act as lead finance business partner to the exco, particularly go-to-market and product and tech
- Own FP&A, KPIs, budgeting and forecasting, including monthly revenue forecasting
- Build daily, weekly and monthly dashboards that leadership actually uses
- Track the business’s big projects, giving clear visibility of progress and risk
- Bring commercial challenge to decision-making, balancing ambition with financial discipline
- Lead and develop a small finance team across FP&A and finance operations
ABOUT YOU
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) at Head of Finance, Finance Director or senior commercial finance level
- Experience in businesses above £20m revenue, trading at scale with large, multi-year contracts
- Proven track record of influencing commercial decisions, not just reporting on them
- Concise, confident communicator who can hold their own with a fast-moving founder and exco
- Comfortable working with data teams and modern reporting tools
Advantageous
- Experience selling into large institutional customers
- Background in recurring revenue or SaaS businesses
- Previous interim or fixed-term leadership roles where you left the function stronger
