Who's the business
Zanda is partnering with a confidential, award-winning creative agency to hire a Finance Business Partner at the heart of their business. This is a well-established, creatively led agency with a strong reputation and an ambitious leadership team. They need someone to bring financial rigour, commercial clarity and genuine business partnering capability, working closely with the Director of Operations and Finance and delivery teams across the business.
What you will be doing
- You will own the financial reporting and management accounting function, produce forecasts, budget tracking and margin analysis, and maintain clear visibility of cash, WIP and debtor positions.
- This is not a back-office finance role. You will work closely with client services, creative and operations teams, helping non-finance colleagues understand how delivery decisions connect to financial outcomes and building commercial confidence across the business.
What background should you have before you press apply
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified with a minimum of two years post-qualified experience
- Previous experience in a creative, marketing or wider agency environment, or a service-based business where labour rates and utilisation drive commercial performance
- Strong working knowledge of Xero and high proficiency in Excel
- Proven track record across management accounts, forecasting, cashflow and margin analysis
- A genuine business partnering mindset, comfortable translating financial data into practical guidance for non-finance teams
- Familiarity with agency project management software such as Teamleader Orbit is an advantage
The practical detail
- Part-time, 20 hours per week across five days at four hours or four days at five hours. Minimum two days per week in the office.
- Salary £65,000 per annum pro rata, plus annual bonus based on agency performance.
