Zanda is an Executive search partner that works exclusively with high growth start-ups as they look to scale their business with senior talent. Zanda partners with VC’s, Founder’s, CEO’s and CFO’s when it comes to successfully delivering on key senior appointments.
Zanda is partnering with a high growth PE backed Technology business with revenues of £250million+ and a headcount of 150 people in the UK. Based in South London, with free parking onsite, they operate globally and are looking for a UK Finance Director to lead the UK Finance team, reporting to the CFO. The UK Finance Director will be part of the Senior Leadership team and manage a team of 10+.
You will be a key commercial partner, providing robust financial insight, challenging decision making and driving return on investment. Acting as the CFO's right hand on financial integrity, you will play a pivotal role in building a robust finance function that supports the strategic growth. The business operates on a hybrid working model and are in the office 3 days a week.
What experiences you will gain:
- Acting as the primary finance business partner to Managing Directors and Senior Leadership team in UK including Sales and Operations
- Full accountability for Budgeting, Forecasting, Performance Management and delivery of actual results
- Ownership of month end close, statutory reporting and regulatory compliance
- Leading the external audit process and managing relationships with auditors
- Managing submissions and interactions with Group FP&A
- Maintaining key external relationships, including tax advisers and main point of contact for IR35 matters and ownership of working capital performance
- Supporting with pricing and bid governance, including margin discipline and oversight of capex and asset productivity
- Streamlining systems and utilising AI to automate processes
- Managing reporting for Group and Investors and driving continuous improvement

- Highly analytical, strategic and a great communicator who can advise and challenge senior non-finance stakeholders
