Who’s the business Zanda is partnering with? An international high growth VC backed Series A Marketplace business in London. Operating across the UK and US, with 10x revenue growth in the last 12 months and over 90% customer retention, the Founders are looking to hire their first Head of Finance to join their global leadership team and build out the finance function. With a headcount of 30, they are at a critical stage of growth and are scaling rapidly.
Reporting to the Founders and working directly with the CEO and Senior Leadership team, the Head of Finance will combine the strategic vision and financial expertise to support them through the next phase of growth across the UK and US. The business is based in Central London and they are in the office 2-3 days a week.
What experiences you will gain:
- Ownership and delivery of all financial operations, controls, processes and management reporting
- Driving commercial performance, owning pricing, unit economics, financial modelling, scenario planning, forecasting and growth planning
- Preparing high quality information for investor reports and board meetings
- Business partnering with the Senior Leadership team including Sales, Operations, Product and Tech
- Owning cash, capital and risk across the business, including cash flow forecasting, liquidity and capital planning, working capital across customers, suppliers and financing products, and UK and US tax, compliance and regulatory requirements
- Identifying ways to continuously improve the systems and processes with an appetite to research and implement tools utilising AI
- Providing financial support across the business, presenting, and communicating critical financial matters when required
- Building and developing a high performing finance team as the business scales
- Supporting the Leadership team with ad hoc finance projects as and when required
What background should you have before you press apply!

- International experience with US entities is essential
- Board level reporting with involvement in fundraising strategy
- Experience within a high growth start up across reporting, controls and FP&A
- Confident building and owning financial models, with experience of Xero
- Proven track record of building and leading finance teams
