Zanda is an Executive search partner that works exclusively with high growth start-ups as they look to scale their business with senior talent. Zanda partners with VC’s, Founder’s, CEO’s and CFO’s when it comes to successfully delivering on key senior appointments.

Zanda is partnering with a high growth VC backed, B2B SaaS business based in London. With an ARR of £80million, they are currently operating across the UK, US and Europe. Reporting to the Head of Accounting, this is a newly created role. You will take ownership of financial operations, from ensuring timely and accurate reporting and robust cash management through to maintaining the controls framework that underpins the business. You will have genuine scope to build things, driving improvements and improving the visibility of finance across the business.

You will embed yourself across the business, partnering with multiple departments and getting involved in projects that go beyond the day to day. Externally, you will own relationships with tax advisors and banking partners directly.

What experiences you will gain:

  • Preparing and delivering monthly financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensuring the accuracy of consolidated financial results
  • Supporting the CFO with treasury operations
  • Preparing and maintaining the cash flow forecast, providing visibility into liquidity and funding needs
  • Assisting in the annual audit and ensuring timely and successful completion
  • Identifying opportunities to reduce close and reporting cycle times through automation
  • Working with the Head of Accounting to develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures
  • Identifying ways to continuously improve the systems and processes and utilize AI
  • Providing financial support across the business, presenting, and communicating critical financial matters when required
  • Building strong relationships with the external stakeholders, including the auditors, tax advisors and banks

What background should you have before you press apply!

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA)
  • Experience within a VC or PE backed, Scale up, SaaS business
  • Experience within an International multi entity business
  • Excellent communicator who can advise and challenge senior non-finance stakeholders
  • Knowledge of NetSuite, highly desirable
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge
