WHY THIS COMPANY AND ROLE
Zanda is partnering with a high-growth, recurring revenue business looking to hire an Interim FP&A Analyst at a pivotal stage of its growth. This is a highly commercial role for someone who enjoys getting under the bonnet of a business, understanding what drives performance and influencing decisions through insight. Reporting into senior finance leadership, you'll join an impressive FP&A team and partner closely with operational and commercial leaders, strengthen forecasting and performance visibility, and embed a more data-driven approach to decision-making across the business.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Partner with operational and commercial leaders to understand and improve business performance
- Own weekly and monthly performance analysis, identifying the key revenue, margin and operational drivers
- Turn complex data into clear, actionable insight for the leadership team
- Own and improve driver-based forecasting, budgeting and planning, challenging assumptions to sharpen accuracy
- Support strategic decisions on hiring, capacity planning, pricing and commercial initiatives
- Identify opportunities to improve profitability, efficiency and operational effectiveness
- Track performance against plan and measure the impact of key initiatives
- Build and maintain the reporting, dashboards and KPIs that drive decision-making, keeping operational and financial data aligned
ABOUT YOU
- 3+ years’ experience in FP&A, commercial finance or business partnering, including leading a team
- Experience in both large and scaling recurring revenue businesses
- Strong analytical and modelling skills, including advanced Excel
- Confident partnering senior operational and commercial stakeholders
- Clear, concise and commercial communicator
- A track record of leading forecasting, planning and performance management
Advantageous
- High-growth, operationally focused or healthcare technology experience
- Driver-based forecasting experience
- BI and reporting tools, such as Power BI
- Previous interim experience, stepping in and adding value quickly
