We are supporting a cutting-edge AI-driven proptech startup, who are seeking an experienced Fractional CFO to guide them through our upcoming pre-seed raise via top tier VCs in the US or UK. This is a fractional role ideal for a senior finance leader who thrives in fast-paced startup environments and has a strong track record in early-stage fundraising, particularly in the US venture ecosystem.
What you'll do:
- Lead and manage the financial strategy and capital raise efforts for their US pre-seed round
- Prepare and refine financial models, forecasts, and investor materials
- Advise founders on fundraising approach, term sheets, and investor relations
- Ensure compliance with relevant US financial and regulatory requirements
- Help establish scalable financial systems and reporting infrastructure
Experience Required:
- Proven experience as CFO in early-stage startups
- Successful track record in raising pre-seed or seed capital in the US
- Strong VC network in the US and UK
- Deep understanding of SaaS or AI-based business models
- Available to work 1–2 days/week, building to a permanent engagement
