What You’ll Do

We’re seeking a Fractional CFO to help lead the business through a successful Series A fundraise. This role is ideal for a strategic finance leader who can operate hands on and at pace. You\’ll:

• Develop and own financial models and investor materials
• Lead financial planning and scenario modeling
• Guide investor outreach, diligence, and deal structuring
• Advise on capital strategy, cash runway, and risk management
• Support operational scaling and commercial readiness post raise

Experience Required

• Proven track record as a CFO or senior finance leader in early-stage, VC backed startups. Ideally within BioTech, DeepTech, or CleanTech sectors
• Successfully led or supported a Series A (or later) raise, with hands on involvement in modelling, structuring, and investor engagement
• Deep understanding of biotech specific funding models, including grant funding, R&D tax credits, and non dilutive financing strategies
• Comfortable operating in pre-revenue environments, with experience managing long R&D timelines and milestone-based funding structures
• Strong financial modeling and scenario planning skills; capable of translating complex science and commercial potential into compelling financial narratives
• Experience preparing and presenting data rooms, investor decks, and board materials for technical and financial stakeholders
• Ability to advise on cap table management, runway extension, and financial operations setup as the company scales
• Strategic, analytical, and execution oriented.
