Zanda is an executive search partner that works exclusively with high-growth start-ups as they scale their businesses with senior talent. We partner with VCs, Founders, CEOs, and CFOs to successfully deliver key senior appointments across Finance, Strategy, and Operations.
We’re delighted to be supporting a fast-growing, eCommerce company, as they look to hire a permanent Finance Manager to lead and strengthen the finance function during a pivotal period of growth. £20 million turnover.
The Opportunity:
As Finance Manager, you’ll take full ownership of the day-to-day finance operations, ensuring timely and accurate reporting, improving financial processes, and working closely with the senior leadership team to provide insight and direction. This is a hands-on, commercially focused role ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and deliver monthly consolidated management accounts
- Produce year-end financial accounts in line with statutory and audit requirements
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions
- Operate within Sage Intacct (or similar ERP systems – excluding Xero)
- Provide the leadership team with financial insights, forecasting, and analysis
- Continuously improve financial controls and reporting processes
Ideal Profile:
- Qualified ACccountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
- Experience within SMEs or scale-up environments
- Proficient in ERP systems, ideally Sage Intacct
- Comfortable in a hands-on, end-to-end finance role
- Strong communication skills and business acumen
