Zanda is an Executive search partner that works exclusively with high growth start-ups as they look to scale their business with senior talent. Zanda partners with VC’s, Founder’s, CEO’s and CFO’s when it comes to successfully delivering on key senior appointments.
Who’s the business Zanda is partnering with? A rapidly growing Seed stage, SaaS business with an ARR of £1 million based in Exeter. With a presence in the UK and US, they have received recent investment from VCs and are looking to hire their first Finance Director.
The Founder is looking for a Part time, Finance Director who can play a critical role in owning finance, shaping the strategy and partnering with the CEO and Leadership team. The business operates remotely, with a monthly meeting in Exeter.
What experiences you will gain:
- Reporting to the Founder and partnering with the Heads of Departments
- Managing all financial activities including transactional accounting, cashflow management, management accounts and financial reporting
- Responsible for the monthly management reporting including key SaaS metrics and budgeting and forecasting
- Producing financial analysis to support strategic decision making and investment opportunities and continually improving the financial models
- Managing the board reporting and Investor relations and supporting the fundraising process, working closely with the CEO and investors
- Providing financial leadership across the business, presenting, and communicating critical financial matters when required
- Introducing accurate and controlled systems and processes, focusing on scalability and efficiency
- Identifying and analysing market opportunities for business growth and supporting the leadership team with key strategic decisions
- Managing the outsourced accounts team and as the company scales, building a high performing finance team in house
