As a Security Officer at ZAM FM, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for clients and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel.
You will be working at Burnley Bus Station on a 4 on, 4 off basis, 8 hour shifts, earliest start will be 6am and the latest finish time will be 22:30pm. Emergency cover may be required overnight on occasion.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Working to ensure a safe and friendly environment for our customers.
Conducting regular patrols of the premises to ensure that the bus station is a safe and welcoming environment for all passengers, bus operators and other staff.
Completing reports by recording any incidents on mobile app.
Providing assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
Deterring criminal activity and misconduct, and performing other duties as assigned.
The majority of your shift will be without supervision so you will be expected to make decisions as appropriate when dealing with any situations.
Proven work experience as a Security Officer or relevant position.
Hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor License
Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety.
Familiarity with report writing.
Excellent surveillance and observation skills.
Trained in First Aid
Comfortable working unsupervised and dealing with members of the public.
Must have been in the UK 3 years.
Must be able to provide details of all employment, education, self-employment, unemployment, and any gaps in your history for the past five years β only once this has been provided and verified will you be start working for us, there are no exceptions to this.
Must be able to complete BS7958:2019 vetting
