We are looking for an experienced SAP HCM Consultant to join our AMS team. This role focuses on delivering expert-level support services to our existing SAP HCM customer base. You will be responsible for handling support tickets, resolving incidents and service requests, and ensuring timely delivery aligned with SLAs. This is a home-based role (UK) with minimal travel, offering the opportunity to work closely with a strong virtual team across Europe in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Your Responsibilities:
- Handle day-to-day support tickets for SAP HCM modules (Payroll, PA, OM, TM, ESS, MSS, etc.)
- Investigate and resolve customer-reported issues within defined SLA timelines
- Provide technical and functional support for SAP HCM UK and Ireland Payroll solutions
- Deliver high-quality documentation, analysis, and root-cause resolution
- Support and coordinate minor enhancements and change requests
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot and escalate complex issues when required
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and customer teams to ensure smooth AMS operations
- Ensure all support activities are compliant with legal regulations and internal standards
- Assist in knowledge sharing and mentoring junior consultants within the AMS team
- Participate in incident reviews and provide input to continuous service improvement initiatives
Skills and Experience Required:
- Minimum 5 years of experience with SAP HCM UK and Ireland Payroll business and technical knowledge, configuration, and testing across HCM Modules (payroll, PA, TM, ESS, MSS, T&E, OM etc.)
- Good SAP HXM / HCM product knowledge, ability to act independently in many complex situations, guide others and improve and influence work processes
- Previous experience working in a client support environment, handling high volume tickets with a focus on customer SLAs
- Strong understanding of operational payroll/HR processes and their underpinning legislative requirements
- Experience of SuccessFactors is a benefit
- Managing client relationships, ensuring that sponsors and all stakeholders are kept informed on progress
- Ability to identify potential issues and provide possible solutions
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple parties as one team
- Excellent verbal and written English language skills
- Commercial awareness of client arrangements
- Competent in the use of MS Office
