We are looking for a
Senior SAP Technical Consultant (Developer) located in the UK to join our UK Zalaris Consulting team, working on both project delivery and support for our customers.
Therefore, it is essential that you are comfortable with a variety of assignments based on business needs.
This is a remote, customer-facing role that may require occasional travel, depending on business and customer needs.
In Summary
Design, develop and implement high-quality, reliable and cost-effective solutions that address the technical challenges faced by Zalaris customers.
Work closely with customers and colleagues to deliver solutions and services that meet customer requirements and drive business value.
Act as a role model within the team, providing guidance, support and mentoring to help develop the skills and capabilities of colleagues.
Contribute to the growth and success of the business by sharing your expertise, supporting business development activities and identifying new opportunities.
- Your Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, implement and support solutions that enhance existing SAP system functionality, including integrations between systems.
- Lead requirements-gathering activities to ensure that proposed solutions are fit for purpose from both technical and business perspectives.
- Maintain and continuously develop your professional skills through self-study, training and certification activities.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across Zalaris to deliver customer solutions.
This may include coordinating tasks assigned to other team members as part of a technical delivery for which you are responsible, such as ensuring appropriate system access is in place or arranging test data setup for integrations under development.
- Author and maintain project documentation, including technical specifications, solution templates, solution overview presentations, unit test plans, training materials and cutover checklists.
- Prepare and deliver knowledge transfer and handover sessions for both customers and Zalaris support teams to ensure a smooth transition of delivered solutions.
- Play an active role in the continuous improvement of the team through knowledge sharing and the identification of process improvement opportunities.
- Continuously develop your expertise by keeping up to date with relevant technologies, industry best practices and emerging trends, while expanding both the breadth and depth of your skill set through ongoing learning and professional development.
- Support pre-sales and sales activities, including the preparation of estimates and proposal documents, solution demonstrations, and providing prospective customers with technical advice and guidance.
- Identify, communicate and support upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
Participate actively in team meetings and other internal business activities.
Complete all required training programmes, including Data Protection, Information Security and Health & Safety training.
- Your Experience and Skills
- 10+ years of SAP experience, supported by relevant SAP certifications.
- Proven experience leading the delivery of complex SAP solutions, including both on-premise and cloud-based integrations.
Must have
ABAP, integration (CPI, PI)
Should have
Success Factors, LSMW, Forms (PE51, SAP Script and Adobe Forms), knowledge of PY and HR (PA, OM)
Nice to have
ESS/MSS (HR), CATS, FI/CO Integration, SAP Roles & Authorisations, ALE.
- Strong communication and commercial awareness and flent English, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders at all level
- Experience producing technical documentation, delivering training, and presenting solution benefits to business stakeholders.
- Consulting experience across SAP HCM and Success Factors environments.
- Experience with SAP Payroll and/or Employee Central Payroll (ECP) would be an advantage.
- Experience integrating SAP solutions with non-SAP applications would be advantageous.
