QUALIFIED SOLICITOR OR QUALIFIED BARRISTER

• 28 days (pro rata) paid holiday in each holiday year, which runs from 1 January to 31 December – this includes bank and public holidays, with the opportunity to request unpaid additional leave if you so require it.

• Two volunteering days per year (fully paid) for you to work either on a pro bono basis for less financially able clients (subject to MD’s approval of the area of law/the matter on which you will be working) or for you to give the time to the community/charity of your choice or generally choose a task for the benefit of the local community.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Managing your own caseload;

• Managing the junior members of your team;

• Handling files from pre-action to conclusion;

• Drafting routine correspondence and pleadings;

• Attending trial;

• Attendance upon clients and counsel;

• Attendance on business networking events for and on behalf of the firm;

• In case of M&A to carry out the usual work from commencement to conclusion of the matter – inter alia due diligence, routine correspondence, drafting of documents etc

• Produce weekly and monthly case progress reports to the Managing Director

We recruit both law and non-law graduate qualified solicitors and Barristers and view strong social skills as important as academic achievement., * 3yr-9yr PQE: £27,500 to £37,500.00pa depending on experience and expertise, and ability to develop new relationships with existing and new clients and third parties and stakeholders.

• 10yr -18yr PQE: £40,000pa – £60,000pa depending on experience and expertise, and ability to develop new relationship with existing and new clients and third parties and stakeholders.

• 18yr -Plus PQE: £61,000pa – £90,000pa depending on experience and expertise, and ability to develop new relationships with existing and new clients and third parties and stakeholders., * LLB, 2.1 or 1st class or equivalent if so converted

• LPC/BVC commendation or distinction (or equivalent if so applicable)

• Ability to appear in Court to deal with all matters concerning a case in the area of law in which you are an expert

• Excellent ability to conduct ADR, such as negotiation, mediation and/or arbitration etc.

• Excellent ability to work individually and as an effective member of a team

• Excellent understanding of the need to deal with clients sensitively, to keep information confidential and act professionally at all times.

• Excellent ability to take on individual project/legal work, demonstrate initiative and carry out meticulous legal work from start to conclusion.

9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday
