Base pay range

Zaizi are looking for a Senior Business Analyst with Central Government experience to help drive, lead and make a positive contribution to our customer\’s digital transformation programmes.

You will have in-depth knowledge of the software development life cycle and be a strong team player, who can communicate well with customers at all stages of the project life cycle and set customer expectations.

Requirements

These are the expected objectives for this role. We are happy to discuss this further during the interview process and jointly agree it with the successful candidate.

  • Understand and define the problem to be solved
  • Understand users and their needs and translate into user stories
  • Help the delivery team decide the best approach, manage and visualise outcomes, prioritise work and work to the agreed minimum viable product (MVP), print and scope
  • Support test functionality and ensuring it meets user and business needs
  • Supporting the Product Owner with the creation of a backlog
  • Modelling business processes (As is / To be)
  • DV Clearance is essential for a successful candidate

Competencies:

You will have extensive commercial experience in the following:

  • Stakeholder management
  • Good understanding of Agile methodologies e.g (Scrum, Lean, Kanban)
  • Function & non-functional requirements
  • Acceptance criteria
  • User stories
  • Working with cross functional teams
  • Continuous improvement
  • Customer facing (build good rapport)
  • Understanding of Government transformation strategy & service standards

SC Clearance:

Zaizi works with UK Central Government departments on a range of projects. To be able to work on our customer projects, employees must be Security Cleared to a standard acceptable to our Government customers. Due to this restriction we can currently only recruit candidates who have the right to work in the UK without sponsorship and who have lived in the UK for the last 5+ years continuously.

Interview Process:

1st stage:

Initial phone screening done by a member of the recruitment team

2nd stage:

Technical interview, this stage evaluates your technical expertise and problem-solving abilities, especially if you\’re applying for a technical role.

Final Stage:

10-15 min presentation and a panel interview where multiple people from different departments ask you questions.

Salary: ÂŁ56,000 / ÂŁ70,000
