This role is remote for the foreseeable future with onsite client working where required and occasional travel to head office in London for workshops/meetings. We’ve been on a journey to build out a product and design capability, and now with an established team doing great work we are looking for a Lead Product Manager to help our team take the next step.
In this role, you’ll work closely with our delivery managers, architects, designers, and researchers to guide on the delivery of outcomes and value against the product vision. Role Objectives:
- Lead one or more multidisciplinary agile teams to deliver and continuously improve services that meet user needs and solve problems for clients.
- Deliver results at all stages in the product lifecycle, including Discovery, Alpha, Beta and Live.
- Form an effective partnership with client product owners and stakeholders.
- Improve the product management capability at Zaizi by mentoring and coaching others.
Requirements:
- Product ownership: as an expert in product management, be able to use a range of techniques to work with a multidisciplinary team and translate user needs into deliverables. This includes writing stories and acceptance criteria, and the ability to work with a range of specialists in multidisciplinary teams.
- Product management: able to develop and maintain product roadmaps, define minimum viable product, and make good decisions about priorities with sometimes limited information.
- Agile working: strong experience working as part of Agile or Kanban teams.
- Lifecycle experience: able to successfully lead teams through the full product lifecycle, including Discovery, Alpha, Beta and Live and identify tools and techniques to be used at each stage.
- User focus: understand users (who they are, what their needs are, how they behave and how they change over time) and deliver products and services that meet these needs. You can prioritise users’ most pressing needs, and are able to coach others to do the same.
- Stakeholder management: able to facilitate buy-in from senior management, the wider organisation and multidisciplinary team. Also able to effectively partner with clients to understand their problems and ensure these are being addressed.
- Analysis and research: be comfortable using a range of evidence, including performance data and user research, to support decisions. Able to concisely articulate evidence, and the rationale for decisions.
- Communication: excellent written and verbal communications skills. Ability to concisely explain complicated things in plain English, create and deliver effective presentations, and write clear and effective user stories.
- GDS service assessment experience is essential.
- Discovery phase work is essential.
- Healthcare experience will be an advantage.

Salary: £70,000 - £85,000
