Zaigo Labs is looking for a hands-on technical recruiter to help us find world-class Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs). We are a profitable, fast-growing AI implementation company that builds and deploys production AI systems inside mid-market businesses. Our Forward-Deployed Engineers don’t sit behind a ticketing system. They build quickly, navigate complicated enterprise infrastructure and own (and lead) important client relationships from discovery through deployment.

We are not looking for someone to process inbound applicants. We need a true headhunter who can proactively find exceptional candidates, particularly across Turkey, Ukraine and Eastern Europe, and South America. The engineers we need combine four things:

  • Exceptional technical ability. They are AI-native, can build extremely quickly and can turn ambiguous business problems into working production software.
  • Real enterprise infrastructure depth across AWS, Azure or GCP, security, Kubernetes, Snowflake and data infrastructure, complex integrations, and ERP or cloud migrations.
  • Urgency and ownership. They drive projects forward, surface problems early, push the pace and professionally nudge clients when something is blocking progress.
  • Executive presence. They can confidently own a relationship with five or six senior client stakeholders, lead discovery calls, explain technical decisions clearly and earn trust quickly.

You will:

  • Map and proactively source high-caliber engineering talent across our target markets.
  • Build relationships with passive candidates rather than relying on job-board applicants.
  • Screen candidates for genuine technical depth, ownership, communication ability and client presence.
  • Develop a repeatable pipeline of Forward-Deployed Engineers, cloud and platform engineers, technical architects and highly technical implementation leaders.
  • Work directly with Zaigo’s founders and technical leadership to continually sharpen the profile.
  • Move quickly and maintain a consistently high bar.

You may be a strong fit if you:

  • Have successfully recruited senior engineers across Eastern Europe, Turkey, Latin America or similar international talent markets.
  • Understand cloud infrastructure, security, data platforms and enterprise software well enough to distinguish real depth from résumé keywords.
  • Have recruited for roles such as Forward-Deployed Engineer, Solutions Architect, Platform Engineer, Cloud Architect, DevOps/SRE or technical consultant.
  • Know how to assess communication, confidence and client leadership—not merely technical credentials.
  • Are highly proactive, resourceful and comfortable being measured on the quality of hires produced.

This will begin as a contract engagement, with the potential to become a long-term and highly meaningful recruiting partnership. We believe in fast promotion tracks for great work.

To apply, please email to kyle@zaigo.ai the following:

  • The markets in which you have the strongest engineering networks.
  • Two or three examples of comparable technical searches you have completed.
  • How you would assess whether an engineer has the presence to own several senior client relationships.
  • Your preferred commercial structure.

Please do not send a generic agency introduction. We care much more about your specific network, judgment and ability to find people other recruiters miss.
