Zachary Daniels Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a forward-thinking, purpose-led retail brand to recruit an Ecommerce Trading Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing direct-to-consumer business where data, customer insight, and digital performance are central to success.
This role sits at the heart of the digital function, combining ecommerce trading, analytics, and CRO. You will take ownership of onsite performance, using data to understand customer behaviour and drive improvements across ecommerce, digital marketing, and CRM.
The Role:
- Working closely with the Head of Ecommerce and wider digital teams, you will play a key role in shaping online growth through both strategic insight and hands-on delivery.
- Key responsibilities include:
- Owning ecommerce analytics and translating data into clear, actionable insights
- Analysing customer behaviour across web and app to identify opportunities for growth
- Developing and applying segmentation strategies to improve targeting and personalisation
- Leading the CRO strategy, including A/B and multivariate testing
- Using tools such as GA4, heatmaps, and session recordings to identify friction points
- Managing day-to-day trading performance, including campaigns, product launches, and onsite merchandising
- Monitoring and reporting on key KPIs such as conversion, AOV, traffic, and revenue
- Collaborating cross-functionally with Digital Marketing and CRM teams to improve performance
About You:
- 5+ years' experience in ecommerce, analytics, or a similar hybrid role within a DTC or retail environment
- Proven ability to turn data into insights that drive commercial performance
- Strong understanding of customer behaviour, segmentation, and personalisation
- Experience with tools such as GA4, Shopify analytics, and testing platforms
- Comfortable working across multiple teams and influencing stakeholders
- Commercially minded with a strong understanding of performance drivers
- Clear and confident communicator, able to simplify complex data
- Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities
- Passionate about customer experience and continuous improvement
