The predicted salary is between 28000 - 42000 £ per year.

This is an area role and requires travel. I am seeking a Territory Manager to manage and develop a customer base across the South-West territory. This includes Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Wales (excluding North Wales), and extending down to Devon and Cornwall. Please only apply if you hold a full driving licence and you are happy to drive and cover this territory. A company car and fuel card will be provided.

This is a fabulous opportunity for someone looking for a new challenge and to diversify their sales experience as I can consider people not currently in a Territory sales role.

With over 50 years of experience, this role is for a well-established consumer goods company in the entertainment and recreation sector, known for our diverse range of engaging and innovative products. Their brands are widely recognized, and as they continue to grow, they are looking for a passionate and driven individual to join their team.

The Role

  • Build excellent customer relationships with an existing customer base and understand their business needs, including regular customer visits.
  • Increase product distribution within both existing and new accounts.
  • Achieve sales targets as allocated by the Sales Director.
  • Actively promote new and existing products.
  • Be able to manage own time effectively.
  • Participation during trade shows.
  • Pro-active account planning and delivery across customer base to achieve set targets and produce continued account growth to new and existing customers.
  • Accountable for the timely and accurate completion of required reporting and feedback.

The Person

  • Previous experience within sales level with a proven track record.
  • A role covering a territory/area would be advantageous; however, it is not essential.
  • MUST hold a full driving licence and be happy to travel and cover the territory.
  • Developing and extending the existing customer portfolio.
  • Excellent people skills, with the ability to work on own initiative.
  • Excellent personal presentation, good communicator and work well as part of a team.
  • Ability to develop relationships with personnel at all levels, both internally and externally.
  • Be able to maximise efficiency by creating and managing a structured call plan.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
