The Opportunity
As part of an ambitious international expansion, our client is seeking a dynamic, commercially astute retail leader to take on the role of Retail Director, North America. This is a pivotal leadership position carrying full P&L responsibility for the entire US and Canadian store portfolio, alongside development of the group's additional retail brands in the region. You will shape strategy, drive profitable growth, and ensure operational excellence across a large and geographically dispersed business, leading a team to deliver an outstanding customer experience while hitting ambitious commercial targets. Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership - develop and execute the North American business strategy, with full P&L ownership, delivering against ambitious sales, growth and profitability targets.
- Commercial Growth - drive top-line sales and market share through strategic merchandising, localised marketing, and a relentless focus on customer experience.
- Operational Excellence - lead all aspects of retail operations including store performance, inventory management, labour optimisation and loss prevention.
- Team Leadership & Development - lead, mentor and motivate a high-performing team of regional and store managers, building a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Network Expansion - identify and evaluate new store opportunities, supporting the real estate pipeline and store launch process.
- Market Insight - act as the voice of the North American customer, feeding insight back to the global leadership team to inform product, brand and business strategy.
