The role offers significant influence across the wider business, combining strategic ownership with hands-on responsibility for media, CRM, partnerships and customer journeys.

The Senior Marketing Manager will take a big-picture view of the brand's marketing activity, ensuring campaigns and channels are aligned and working effectively together. They will own media strategy, buying and measurement, alongside CRM strategy and execution, while identifying new partnership opportunities and using customer data to improve journeys and experiences. The role will also provide leadership and development for the media and CRM teams, requiring an individual who is commercially minded, highly collaborative and confident influencing stakeholders across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and protect the brand through integrated marketing strategies designed to deliver against agreed commercial and brand KPIs.
  • Take ownership of the overall campaign direction, ensuring different marketing channels work cohesively and that tactical decisions support the wider strategy.
  • Develop strong relationships across the business to enable collaborative and coordinated decision-making.
  • Own media strategy, planning, buying and measurement, balancing proven channels with a test-and-learn approach to identify new opportunities.
  • Lead the relationship with the media team, driving innovation, performance improvements and greater effectiveness.
  • Identify and develop external partnerships that add value and support key brand priorities.
  • Own the CRM strategy through to execution across both marketing and customer service communications.
  • Work closely with CRM platform owners to maximise the capabilities of existing technology and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Partner with internal data teams to bring first-party data and customer insight into marketing journeys and key customer touchpoints.
  • Develop customer journeys that work effectively across the full funnel and support the brand's strategic priorities.
  • Lead, support and develop the media and CRM teams, creating a high-performing and collaborative environment.
  • Monitor campaign and channel performance, using insight to continually improve marketing effectiveness.

What We're Looking For

  • Significant experience in ATL media planning and buying, gained either client-side or within a team environment.
  • A strong track record of developing, adapting and implementing media strategies.
  • Significant CRM experience, particularly around customer journeys, communications and lifecycle marketing.
  • Experience of leading, coaching and developing marketing teams.
  • Previous retail or consumer-facing experience would be advantageous.
  • Strong commercial and strategic thinking, with the ability to see the bigger picture while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to influence and manage stakeholders across multiple functions and levels, both internally and externally.
  • Excellent communication, organisation and project management skills.
  • A data-led approach, with the ability to use customer insight to inform marketing decisions.
  • The confidence to work with agencies, partners and senior stakeholders to deliver ambitious marketing objectives.

The successful Senior Marketing Manager will join a collaborative marketing function with the opportunity to make a significant impact on brand strategy, customer engagement and commercial performance. The role offers the opportunity to work across a broad marketing remit, develop high-performing teams and influence activity across a major consumer brand, while working alongside experienced internal teams, agencies and external partners.
