An established heritage brand renowned for its premium apparel collections is currently recruiting for a Senior Womenswear Designer with strong multi-product experience across jersey, woven and knitwear to join their London head office team.
As a Senior Womenswear Designer, you will be responsible for creating multi-product ranges in line with the design and buying range plan. Working closely with the buying and merchandising teams, you will create commercially strong collections that include bestsellers in the range. You will attend development and inspirational trips, create garment specs, and advise on fabrics, graphics and branding. You will be a valued member of the design team reporting directly to the Head of Design.
The ideal applicant must have previous multi-product womenswear design experience working at an established level for a lifestyle, high street or premium fashion retailer. You should possess excellent multi-product design skills and a strong understanding of product development and garment construction. Strong communication, presentation skills, and advanced CAD skills are essential, along with previous experience working with internal buyers, merchandisers, garment techs, and external suppliers and factories.
