My client is an international design and manufacturing organisation, with a fantastic reputation within the industry they supply within.
Due to continued growth, they are looking to add an experienced Senior Procurement Specialist to their team. The Senior Procurement Specialist will ensure the cost effective and timely delivery of materials to the business in line with MRP system requirements. They will also develop robust relationships with key UK and International suppliers, engaging with senior stakeholders to provide effective supply chain support.
- Extensive knowledge of production/inventory management in a manufacturing environment and end to end procurement process/MRP/ERP systems, ideally 5+ years working experience
- Ability to work to a high level of detail and accuracy with strong commercial awareness
- Competent user of Microsoft Office software, especially Excel
- Advanced negotiation skills and the ambition to further develop procurement skillset to an increased technical and strategic level
