My client is currently looking to recruit a Health & Safety Officer to join their site in South Lanarkshire. You will be working with a well established and respected Scottish FMCG brand. If you are looking for a company where you can develop your skills and advance your career through clear development, then this could be the role for you!
- Support the wider operations team through development, embedding and promotion of health and safety standards.
- Monitor, evaluate and review Health & Safety policy and practices, make recommendations and amend as required.
- Advise on the implications of current and emerging health and safety legislation, including evaluating options and making recommendations.
- Develop and deliver in-house training with managers and employees on all relevant aspects of health and safety.
- Work within all business areas to ensure Health & Safety standards are appropriately implemented within their areas of control and are sufficiently robust for anticipated demands.
- Provide input for regular Health & Safety communications for all levels of staff to include written information, toolbox talks and management briefings.
- NEBOSH qualified.
- Strong working experience of H&S systems and legislation such as ISO45001 / ISO 14001.
- Promotes positive workplace culture, inspiring and influencing others.
