My client is looking to recruit an experienced R&D Engineer to join their site near Stirling. The successful engineer will support new product development through prototype design, modification and testing. For existing products, the role focuses on sustaining engineering such as DFM and reliability improvements, component alternates and product variations.
Responsibilities:
- Conceptualise, prototype and test electrical systems for a range of products, adhering to UK & EU required legislation.
- Take ownership of the development of products and ensure they meet project timescales, functionality, and serviceability requirements.
- Test and collect data for analysis and interpretation then produce technical reports with recommendations.
- Develop and produce manufacturing test procedures, user, and installation documentation.
- Utilise electrical drawing package (Solidworks 2D electrical) to produce wiring schematics and production drawings.
- Establish and maintain a good working relationship with internal project team members throughout the project life cycle.

- Degree / HND or equivalent in electrical or electronics discipline.
