Zachary Daniels are proud to be recruiting for a Regional Director on behalf of a high-profile food retailer with a strong presence across the UK.
The Role:
As Regional Director, you will be responsible for leading and inspiring a large group of stores across The Midlands, delivering commercial excellence, operational standards and an exceptional customer experience. This is a critical leadership role that demands strategic thinking, a passion for food retail, and the ability to build and empower high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of Area Managers and Store Managers across the Midlands region
- Drive commercial performance and profitability in line with business objectives
- Champion customer service and ensure operational excellence across all locations
- Support the implementation of strategic initiatives, new store openings and continuous improvement
- Develop strong cross-functional relationships across Head Office and Supply Chain
- Foster a culture of accountability, people development and high performance
About You:
- Proven experience in a senior regional leadership role within supermarkets or convenience retail
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage complex P&Ls and deliver results
- Inspirational leadership style with a focus on team development and coaching
- Highly adaptable, hands-on, and comfortable operating at both strategic and operational levels
- A natural collaborator with the ability to influence at all levels of a large, fast-moving business
