Online Trading Assistant | Nottinghamshire (Office-based until December, then Hybrid TBC)
Zachary Daniels are excited to be partnering with a World Leading Gaming Group, part of a wider Retail Group, to recruit an Online Trading Assistant.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with 1-2 years\’ experience in retail, merchandising or ecommerce who is looking for a role with responsibility, variety and long-term career potential. Initially offered until the end of the year, there is every chance this role will become permanent.
You\’ll be joining the business at an exciting time, working through peak trading, supporting product launches and pre-orders, and helping to deliver smooth online trading performance with leading retail partners.
The Role
As Online Trading Assistant, you will:
- Support with product setup, ensuring copy, imagery and data are accurate.
- Manage pre-order setup and monitor performance.
- Assist with budgets and forecasts, helping to track sales performance.
- Work on pricing, grading and seasonal activity.
- Manage orders (new release and replenishment), deliveries and bookings into Shirebrook.
- Support the setup of SOAs, markdowns and returns.
- Work with the internal marketing team on trade marketing campaigns.
- Contribute to internal planning and reporting.
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure smooth flow of stock, orders and pre-orders.
About you:
The Online Trading Assistant role would suit someone who is:
- A recent graduate or has up to 2 years\’ experience in retail, merchandising, ecommerce or trading.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented and able to juggle multiple tasks.
- Strong with numbers, budgets and reporting.
- A confident communicator who can build relationships internally and externally.
- Eager to learn, proactive, and excited to grow in a fast-paced retail environment.
This is an excellent opportunity to get hands-on experience in ecommerce and trading with a business that is growing and evolving as part of the Retail Group. The Online Trading Assistant role offers exposure to product setup, forecasting, trade marketing and supplier management, giving you the foundation for a fantastic career in ecommerce or merchandising.
You\’ll be office-based Monday to Friday until December to support peak trading, with hybrid working available thereafter.
