The Role:
- As a Junior Merchandiser, you\’ll take full ownership of your categories, driving the trading strategy and performance.
- You\’ll be accountable for weekly trade reporting, identifying key actions, and collaborating with the wider team to drive results.
- This role involves managing rebuys, phasing, and cancellations based on trade data, while working closely with your buyer to optimise OTB and drive newness each week.
- You\’ll be hands-on in managing WSSI, forecasting and planning for seasonal lines, and tracking stock vs. sales to protect line cards.
- Working with your buyer, you\’ll contribute to range builds, monitor key dates like Black Friday, and ensure pricing strategies align with market trends.
- Your role will also involve mentoring Assistant Merchandisers and junior team members, delegating tasks effectively, and identifying \”quick wins\” to maximise sales.
