My client is a prestigious and luxury brand with a reputation for excellence globally. They are currently looking for an experienced Electrician to join their maintenance engineering team.

Responsibilities:

  • Reacts to requests from the Management team and other operating departments to assess and repair faults with all aspects of the buildings including HVAC, lighting & small power issues, plumbing problems.
  • Installation of additional electrical circuits.
  • Undertakes and records regular Planned Preventative Maintenance Programme.
  • Temperature checks of water systems as specified in the site Water Risk Assessments.
  • Fire alarm testing, fire equipment checks, meter readings, running generator, etc.
  • Carries out Health & Safety testing to include the Control of Legionella, Portable Appliance Testing, Emergency Lighting testing, etc.

Experience & Qualifications Required:

  • Must be eligible to work within the UK - essential.
  • Must be time served Electrician, preferably completed 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations - essential.
  • Able to carry out Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) - preferred.
  • Some understanding and awareness of Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning systems.
  • Good all round knowledge of electrical distribution systems - essential.
  • Requires understanding and using various hand tools, electrical tools, and test and inspection equipment - essential.
  • Must be able to work a flexible working pattern over 7 days.
