Talent & People Advisor – 6‑month Contract

We're partnering with a leading consumer business to recruit a Talent & People Advisor to join their People team on an initial six‑month fixed‑term contract.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business going through an exciting period of growth and transformation, where you'll have the chance to make a real impact from day one.

Working closely with the Senior People Partner, you'll play a key role across both recruitment and generalist HR, supporting managers and employees across the UK.

  • What you'll be doing
  • Managing end‑to‑end recruitment across a variety of head office and operational roles.
  • Partnering with hiring managers to understand recruitment needs and deliver effective hiring solutions.
  • Sourcing and attracting high‑quality talent through a variety of channels.
  • Delivering a first‑class candidate experience from attraction through to onboarding.
  • Providing first‑line HR advice and guidance to managers on a range of people matters.
  • Supporting employee relations cases including absence, performance, disciplinary and grievance processes.
  • Coordinating onboarding, inductions, probation reviews and employee lifecycle administration.
  • Supporting learning and development initiatives, employee engagement and wellbeing activities.
  • Producing HR documentation and maintaining accurate HR systems and records.
  • Contributing to HR projects, process improvements and wider people initiatives.

About you

We're looking for someone who enjoys working across both Talent Acquisition and HR and is confident building relationships across a busy, fast‑paced business. You'll ideally have:

  • Previous experience managing end‑to‑end recruitment in an in‑house Talent Acquisition role.
  • HR Advisory experience, with a good understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • Confidence supporting managers with a range of employee relations matters.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
  • Experience using HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • A proactive, collaborative approach and a genuine passion for delivering a great people experience.
