Zachary Daniels is recruiting for an experienced Chef to join a busy, high-volume food operation.
The Role
- You'll lead the day-to-day running of the kitchen, preparing high-quality fresh food while maintaining excellent standards across food safety, quality and service.
- Prepare fresh food to a consistently high standard
- Lead, motivate and develop the kitchen team
- Allocate tasks and manage the kitchen operation
- Manage stock, costs and waste
- Ensure food safety, health & safety and trading standards are met
- Support sales, profitability and commercial targets
- Maintain a clean, organised and efficient kitchen
About You
- We're looking for someone with previous experience in a professional kitchen
- Relevant Catering and Food Safety qualifications
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Experience working to targets, budgets or KPIs
- A passion for fresh, quality food
- The ability to work at pace while maintaining high standards
Working hours: Monday-Sunday, between 6am-6pm, with flexibility required. Shift patterns will be discussed at interview.
