We're looking for a couple of Freight Forwarders to work in a fast-paced, long-standing trading business. This is a varied, fast-paced role where you'll play a key part in coordinating deliveries, solving operational challenges, and ensuring goods move efficiently across the UK.
The Role
- You'll be responsible for coordinating the movement of goods from planning through to delivery, ensuring operations run smoothly and customers receive an excellent service.
- Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating collections and deliveries across the UK
- Managing shipments from start to finish, ensuring deliveries are completed on time and in full
- Monitoring transport activity and resolving any operational issues that arise
- Building strong relationships with suppliers, transport providers, customers and internal teams
- Scheduling deliveries while balancing changing priorities
- Maintaining accurate records using internal business systems
- Communicating effectively with stakeholders to keep operations running efficiently
- Supporting continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to improve processes and ways of working
- As your experience grows, you'll have the opportunity to take ownership of key accounts, projects and operational areas, giving you exposure to both the operational and commercial side of the business.

- Experience within a freight forwarding role with some knowledge on customs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel

- Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar ERP systems
- Experience working in a commercial or fast-paced environment
