The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an ambitious, fast-growing fashion brand at a pivotal stage of its journey.
As the business enters its first full year and prepares for its Autumn/Winter season, it is looking for a confident, creative and highly social-first Tik Tok Content Creator to help shape how the brand shows up, connects with its audience and grows across social media.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, film, edit and publish engaging Tik Tok content at volume, maintaining a consistent flow of fresh, relevant videos.
- Act as a confident, recognisable face of the brand, appearing in talking-head videos, POV content, try-ons, styling videos and trend-led formats.
- Translate product features, fit, fabric, sizing and styling into engaging content that feels natural to the platform.
- Showcase the brand's full size and length offering, helping customers understand fit, discover products and feel confident in their purchases.
- Develop recurring content formats and creative series that encourage audience recognition, engagement and repeat viewing.
- Capture authentic behind-the-scenes, office, product and lifestyle moments that bring the brand's personality to life.
- React quickly to emerging trends, sounds, formats and cultural moments, identifying opportunities to create relevant content while maintaining the brand's identity.
- Founder & Brand Storytelling
- Work directly with the founders to develop and film engaging founder-led content that communicates the brand's personality, story and ambitions.
- Help bring the people behind the business to life through natural, entertaining and relatable content.
- Collaborate with the wider marketing team and freelance creatives on campaign shoots, product launches and key brand moments.
- Repurpose suitable content for Instagram Reels and Stories, adapting formats to suit each platform where appropriate.
- Creative Testing & Performance
- Understand the importance of hooks, watch time, audience retention and engagement, applying these principles to every video.
- Test different concepts, opening lines, editing styles, formats and creative approaches to identify what resonates with the audience.
- Work with the social team to review performance insights and use learnings to improve future content.
- Respond to audience comments through video replies and follow-up content, helping build an active and engaged community.
- Maintain a proactive pipeline of creative ideas, ensuring content remains fresh, relevant and aligned with wider brand priorities.
What We're Looking For
- A genuine understanding of Tik Tok culture, trends and content formats, with the ability to distinguish platform-native content from recycled Instagram posts.
- Confidence and natural charisma on camera, with a personality that translates well to short-form video. Being comfortable as a regular face of the brand is essential.
- A portfolio of content you have created, either for a brand, your own social channels or personal projects, demonstrating your creative ability and on-camera presence.
- Strong smartphone filming, editing and storytelling skills, with experience using Cap Cut or similar editing tools.
- A strong instinct for hooks, pacing, storytelling and the creative techniques that encourage viewers to keep watching.
- The ability to generate ideas quickly and turn them into finished content with minimal direction.
- A proactive, experimental mindset, comfortable testing multiple concepts, learning from performance and refining your approach.
- A natural, engaging and relatable on-screen presence, with the ability to communicate products and ideas authentically.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to produce content consistently in a fast-paced environment.
- A collaborative attitude and the confidence to work directly with founders, the social team and external creatives.
- An interest in fashion, styling, fit and the wider social media landscape would be highly advantageous.
Why This Opportunity?
- Be a face of the brand: Develop your on-camera presence and become an integral part of the brand's identity.
- Creative freedom: Bring your ideas to life, experiment with formats and help shape the brand's Tik Tok presence.
- Work directly with founders: Have direct access to the people building the business and contribute to its story as it grows.
- Make content, not admin: Focus on filming, editing, creating and testing rather than being tied up in channel management.
- Build something from an early stage: Help establish recognisable content formats and creative foundations during an exciting period of growth.
- Work in a fast-moving team: Collaborate with a small, ambitious marketing team where creativity, initiative and execution make a visible difference.
This is an opportunity for a creator who understands social media instinctively, enjoys being on camera and wants to turn their creativity into tangible brand impact.
As Tik Tok Content Creator, you'll play a central role in defining how the brand shows up on the platform and creating content that audiences genuinely want to watch.
