The Role
As an Import Merchandiser, you\’ll be the vital link between our creative vision and final product delivery. You\’ll ensure that every step of the production journey runs smoothly – from initial development to final delivery – by working directly with suppliers, internal teams, and customers. You\’ll help manage our fast-paced critical path and play a key role in ensuring collections arrive on time and to standard.
Key Responsibilities

Critical Path Management – Lead the critical path process, from order confirmation to delivery, flagging risks and keeping all stakeholders aligned.

Supplier Liaison – Build strong relationships with offshore factories (Far East and European), ensuring clear, daily communication around production timelines and approvals.

Order Placement & Margin Management – Place and track bulk orders, ensuring they meet margin targets and align with seasonal pricing strategies.

Wholesale Account Support – Manage key customer accounts, confirming order details and keeping them updated on delivery timelines.

Problem Solving – Identify delays or issues quickly and implement proactive, solution-focused actions to keep production on track.

Shipping & Stock Monitoring – Work cross-functionally to manage shipments, monitor ETAs, and ensure timely deliveries.

Cross-functional Collaboration – Work closely with Garment Tech, Design, Buying and Quality teams to ensure smooth, aligned execution.

Reporting & Admin – Keep meticulous records of orders, approvals, and shipments using Excel, PLM, or ERP tools.
What We\’re Looking For

3+ years\’ experience in a fashion merchandising or production role (wholesale or import)

In-depth knowledge of the fashion supply chain, from development through to delivery

A natural organiser with high attention to detail and the ability to multitask under pressure

Strong Excel and PLM/ERP skills

Excellent communicator – confident with internal teams, suppliers, and customers
