Zachary Daniels Retail Recruitment has an opportunity for a Store Manager to join a Garden Centre to help with their ongoing development and success. We are looking for a Garden Centre Manager from a Garden Centre or horticulture environment who can deliver outstanding results time and time again. You don\’t need to have full horticulture qualifications, but if you have managed a garden centre department or similar, we are keen to hear from you!
As the Garden Centre Manager, you will work closely with your team to develop a strong relationship and set the standards in your centre. You will have responsibility for all key departments; we want candidates with experience of garden centres, horticulture environments, farm shops, garden accessories, sundries, and seasonal departments.
You will be responsible for all aspects of your store including key departments and sections, managing colleagues to achieve results, and being responsible for recruitment, training, and standards. As a Store Manager, you will manage all aspects of the operation, put customers at the heart of what you do, and deliver exceptional results. You will be able to drive sales, have high visual merchandising standards, and ensure the area is attractive and appealing at all times.

The Successful Garden Centre Manager will need:
- A background within a Garden Centre or similar environment
- Relevant horticultural qualifications are an advantage but not essential
- Must have a passion for Garden Centres!
- Proven experience of leading large teams
- High levels of motivational ability to inspire your teams
- Strong track record of delivering results in a complex operational role
- Experience of Horticulture an advantage, or a strong affinity will be considered.
