Would you like an opportunity to join a global leader in the luxury retail market? This is an excellent entry point for a recently qualified accountant to step into this global iconic group. The business boasts multiple brands, all tied together with a dynamic and great working environment. About the role The finance business partner role works with all the brand’s local teams (marketing, merchandising, sales, retail) and also the central team. The Finance Business Partner is in charge of producing excellent management reporting, coordinating the preparation of budgets, and providing ad-hoc analysis as well as recommendations to the brand’s management. Key responsibilities Finance Reporting & Business Analysis Prepare monthly reporting for group (P&L, Balance Sheet). Prepare monthly actuals by division as well as analysis by division. Prepare monthly management reporting with executive summary and ad-hoc analysis. Controlling & Budgeting Provide analysis of main variances between actuals & Budgets, identify and report any risks and opportunities arising from those variances. Preparation of budget. Provide analysis and recommendations on specific cost control projects (Capex, Staffing). Internal control & External Audit Systems improvements. Adhere to internal control rules and processes in place, as well as making recommendations where appropriate. Provide support in relation to the annual external audit and any internal audits. Person profile Experience within a fast-paced retail/consumer environment is highly desirable. Autonomous and organised. First-class communication skills including business partnering. Deliver on time. Analytical mind and strong attention to detail.
