Zachary Daniels are partnering with a high growth luxury skincare brand and are seeking a commercially savvy and well-connected European Wholesale Lead to accelerate the brand's growth across Europe. This is a high-impact role focused on developing and managing premium wholesale partnerships - including department stores, high-end retailers, and specialty beauty platforms - while also leveraging established distributor relationships to expand market access. Candidates must have deep knowledge of and existing relationships with top European beauty distributors and ideally have DTC experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Wholesale & Distribution Strategy
- Identify and manage best-in-class distributors across priority markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with European distribution partners, ensuring optimal brand positioning, inventory, and promotional support.
- Evaluate and negotiate new distribution agreements to support long-term growth.
- Account Management & Sales Growth
- Grow and manage key wholesale accounts across Europe, including forecasting, planning, and sell-through optimisation.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for wholesale buyers and distributor sales teams.
- Drive seasonal buying meetings and new product launches across accounts.
- Territory Expansion
- Map and prioritise strategic markets across Europe for both direct wholesale and distributor-led expansion.
- Localise sales strategies based on market dynamics, trends, and channel requirements.
- Brand Representation
- Ensure brand standards are upheld at every retail and distribution touchpoint, from visual merchandising to education.
- Partner with marketing and education teams to drive brand awareness through distributors and wholesale partners.
- Analytics & Forecasting
- Monitor KPIs including sales velocity, replenishment cycles, and door productivity.
- Own sales forecasts for wholesale and distribution channels across Europe.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Experience in wholesale and/or distribution sales within the beauty or skincare industry.
- Proven relationships with major beauty distributors across Europe (e.g., Orbico, Primor, Titanbeauty and Global Beauty Brands etc).
- Strong understanding of regional retail trends and consumer behavior in skincare.
- Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and account management skills.
- Fluent in English; additional European languages (especially French, German, or Italian) is highly advantageous.
- Willingness and ability to travel across Europe when required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience launching or scaling a skincare brand through both wholesale and distribution across EMEA.
- Proficiency with sales platforms, ERP, and CRM systems (e.g., NetSuite, Salesforce).
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset.
