As Deputy Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Store Manager to ensure the store operates safely, legally and commercially. You will take ownership of operational standards, compliance, team leadership and driving store performance.
Key Responsibilities as Deputy Manager:- Support the Store Manager in all operational aspects of the store
- Ensure the store trades in a safe and legal manner at all times
- Lead on compliance, audits and safe & legal training standards
- Oversee stock management, wastage control and cost management
- Manage rota planning and control of labour hours
- Drive high store standards and excellent customer service
- Inspire, coach and develop the wider team
