Digital Trading Manager | London – Hybrid | Salary up to £45k | Multi-channel Retailer

A well established multi-channel retailer is searching for a commercially minded Digital Trading Manager to take ownership of online performance across a fast-paced and growing digital portfolio. Partnering with teams across marketing, merchandising, CRM, and tech, this role will be at the heart of driving revenue, conversion, and customer experience. The successful Digital Trading Manager will be both analytical and hands-on, thriving in a trading-led environment where decisions are guided by data and customer insight.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the daily and weekly trading of all digital channels, including web, app, and marketplaces.

  • Maximise sales, conversion, and AOV through effective product positioning, promotions, and pricing.

  • Own the digital trading calendar, ensuring flawless execution of campaigns, product launches, and seasonal activations.

  • Work closely with CRM, marketing, and merchandising to deliver cohesive, commercially focused content.

  • Use tools such as GA4, Shopify, or ContentSquare to monitor performance and deliver optimisation strategies.

  • Run trade meetings, presenting insights and actions to senior stakeholders.

  • Manage site merchandising, product recommendations, and navigation to improve customer journeys.

  • Brief UX/design and development teams on site improvements, testing, and functionality upgrades.

  • Ensure digital platforms are fully prepared and trading-ready at all times.

  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends, identifying opportunities to innovate and stay ahead.

What We're Looking For

  • Established as an exec or manager in a similar role

    Strong commercial awareness with experience of delivering revenue and margin growth.

  • Confident using analytics and trading dashboards to guide decisions.

  • Skilled in site merchandising, CRO, and customer experience improvements.

  • Familiarity with platforms such as Shopify Plus, Magento, or Salesforce Commerce Cloud.

  • Excellent organisational skills, able to handle multiple priorities at pace.

  • A clear communicator and influencer who can work cross-functionally.
