We are partnering with a leading, highly respected logistics organisation to appoint a Contract Manager in a pivotal, national role. This is a high profile opportunity to take full ownership of multiple contracts, driving operational excellence, commercial performance, and a best-in-class safety culture across a UK-wide portfolio.

As Contract Manager, you will be accountable for the safe, compliant, and commercially successful delivery of all contracts within your remit. You will ensure performance, engagement, and service excellence remain consistently high.

  • Full ownership of P&L performance, including budgeting, cost control, and optimisation of commercial opportunities.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring high satisfaction, retention, and growth across the contract portfolio.
  • Leading industrial relations, including engagement with trade unions and responsibility for wage negotiations.
  • Ensuring full compliance with all legal and regulatory frameworks, including operator licensing and driver regulations.
  • Aligning operational capacity with long-term customer demand, ensuring optimal resource planning and utilisation.
  • Strong commercial acumen with full ownership of high-value P&Ls (£multi-million).
  • Experience managing industrial relations and engaging effectively with trade unions.
  • The ability to lead, influence, and inspire teams in a remote, fast-paced environment.
