As the Merchandising Assistant you will:
- Support your merchandising & buying teams by preparing Monday trade reports and other key analysis.
- Run and own reporting as required by your Merchandiser.
- Act as a point of contact with suppliers to ensure smooth order delivery.
- Assist with range builds, best/worst analysis, and range reviews.
- Support the buying team with critical path management to keep stock on schedule.
- Carry out competitive shops with the buying team and maintain department pricing files.
- Review sizing curves and contribute suggestions for new orders or repeats.
- Raise and manage purchase orders, ensuring details are accurate at all times.
- Liaise with suppliers, warehouses, and internal teams to track the status of booked lines.
- Ensure all product is live online as soon as stock arrives, resolving any discrepancies.
- Monitor competitor activity and pricing regularly to support trading decisions.
- Play an active role during key trading periods such as Black Friday and Christmas promotions.
