Main Responsibilities In The Position of Marketplace Business Development Manager Include: Identify brand gaps and devise strategies across multiple categories. Represent the business in front of prospective seller partners and service providers. Develop and implement business development strategies to drive marketplace growth. Set and achieve sales targets and KPIs in line with company goals. Liaise with internal teams (legal, finance, IT, operations) to ensure smooth transitions and growth projects. Monitor and report on marketplace performance, providing insights and recommendations. Utilise data analytics to refine strategies and inform decision-making. Build scalable processes for community development and daily operations. Ensure compliance with UK regulations, company policies, and FCA Conduct Rules. 3-5 years of track record in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in a marketplace or e-commerce environment. ~ Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). ~ Experience with data analysis and utilising insights to refine strategies. ~ A business degree is preferred but not essential. ~ Strong commercial awareness and understanding of retail. ~ Creative, innovative, and collaborative problem-solver. ~
