Health & Safety SupervisorLocation: Bolton / North WestSalary: £40,000 to £45,000 + pool car for travelling to sitesHours: Flexible working hours across Monday to FridayWe are working with a well-established and growing North West business to recruit a Health & Safety Supervisor.This is a great opportunity for someone with strong hands-on health and safety experience who wants to join a business going through an exciting period of development and growth. The company operates across both a central operational site and a wider multi-site estate, so the role will offer plenty of variety across production, retail and general workplace health and safety.The role will be predominantly based in Bolton, with travel across sites in the North West when required. A company car will be provided.The RoleAs Health & Safety Supervisor, you will support the business in maintaining and improving health and safety standards across its operations.
You will work closely with senior stakeholders, HR and operational teams to ensure health and safety is practical, visible and embedded across the business.Responsibilities will include:Carrying out health and safety audits across operational and retail sitesCompleting fire risk assessmentsSupporting managers with health and safety guidanceReviewing and improving health and safety processes and documentationIdentifying risks and recommending practical improvementsSupporting compliance across a growing multi-site businessWorking closely with HR and operational leaders on audits and best practiceThe CandidateWe are looking for someone who is practical, approachable and confident working with people at all levels of a business.You will need:NEBOSH General CertificatePrevious hands-on health and safety experienceExperience carrying out audits and risk assessmentsA full UK driving licenceThe confidence to work across multiple sitesStrong communication and influencing skillsA practical, solutions-focused approachExperience within food production, manufacturing, retail, bakery, logistics or another multi-site environment would be highly beneficial, although we are open to considering candidates from a range of backgrounds.The PackageSalary circa £40,000Company carMonday to Friday working patternFlexible approach to working hoursOpportunity to join a well-established business during a key period of growth and developmentThis is an excellent opportunity for a Health & Safety professional who enjoys being hands-on and wants to make a real impact within a growing North West business.BBBH36559TPBN1_UKTJ
