This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong knowledge of Northern Ireland, Great Britain and the Republic of Ireland who enjoys working in a fast-paced transport environment and is looking to develop their career within a progressive operation. You will play a key role in planning and coordinating deliveries, ensuring customer requirements are met efficiently while maintaining strong relationships with drivers, customers and internal teams. As Transport Planner, you will be responsible for organising transport in the most efficient and cost-effective way, while ensuring high levels of customer service. Planning and allocating customer orders to transport and drivers. Assigning delivery requirements and confirming booking dates. Building efficient delivery schedules to maximise fleet utilisation. Producing transport reports, schedules and operational information. Identifying opportunities to improve transport efficiency and service delivery. We are looking for an organised and commercially aware Transport Planner who can work confidently in a busy operational environment. Recent experience in a Transport Planner or similar transport/logistics role. Good knowledge of transport planning systems and relevant IT platforms.
