As the Junior Merchandiser you will be confident in the set up of new reporting tools, communicating daily with partners and trading partners stock online whilst striving to meet growth plans for each brand.
Responsibilities Include:
- Own daily line sales, update your forecasts for all areas
- Monitor stock vs sales across all platforms, and gain full trading visibility into partners performance each week
- Review margin across all lines weekly, whilst being able to protect new product margin gains with the wider buying and merchandising team
- Build lessons learnt decks for each season
- Continuously analyse stock, sales, availability, size ratios
- Suggest and implement mark down and promos with the trading team
- Protect never out of stock lines with forecasting accurately at the start of each season
- Place well balanced order quantities on each range, producing clear ranges with hero and core lines
- Manage all admin amends and updates around data dumping and actualised sales
- Work closely to all product teams, in house and partner side on the trading calendar
- Ensure stock is in at the right time, in the right place and well stocked at all times to achieve sales
- You will identify where cancellations and phasing activity needs to occur with the support of your assistant and trainee
- Development of junior members of the team, motivating team morale whilst setting realistic goals & objectives
- Ensure that the daily administrative tasks are done accurately & in a timely manner by your direct reports
- Review product and supplier mixes with your Buyer to ensure that the right product, quality and designs are being brought into the business
