I'm partnering with a retail who are looking for an experienced Distribution Centre Manager to lead a high-volume operation supplying both retail stores and e-commerce customers. This role owns day-to-day DC performance, delivering safe, efficient and cost-effective operations across a diverse product range.
Only applicants with experience within retail warehousing or retail 3PL supply chains will be considered.
Key Responsibilities- Lead all DC operations: inbound, storage, stock control, picking, dispatch and returns
- Deliver B2B store replenishment and B2C e-commerce fulfilment to agreed SLAs
- Lead, develop and motivate warehouse management and operational teams
- Ensure strong health & safety, compliance and stock accuracy standards
- Manage carriers and third-party partners
- Track KPIs, control costs and drive continuous improvement, automation and sustainability initiatives
- Proven Warehouse General Manager or Distribution Centre Manager with experience in a retail or retail 3PL environment.
- Strong people leader with experience managing medium to large teams in high-volume operations.
- Solid knowledge of WMS, inventory systems and omni-channel fulfilment models.
- Confident managing budgets, controlling costs and improving operational efficiency.
- Highly adaptable, resilient and comfortable operating in fast-changing retail environments.
- Strong understanding of health & safety, compliance and stock integrity.
