Job Description

Assistant Photographer | Liverpool | Apparel | £23k – £25k

A growing creative team is seeking an Assistant Photographer to support and enhance their visual production. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the lead photographer, playing a vital part in maintaining consistency and quality across all ecommerce and product imagery. The focus will primarily be on ecommerce, with occasional assistance on campaign shoots as needed. A strong understanding of photography techniques, including lighting and camera settings, is essential, along with the ability to frame products perfectly and work with shoppable content.

Key Responsibilities & Skills In The Position of Assistant Photgrapher:

  • Capture product and on-model imagery.
  • Assist with ecommerce casting and shoot coordination.
  • Proficient in Adobe software suite.
  • Support the lead photographer on campaign shoots.
  • Set up lighting and backdrops for photoshoots.
  • Optimize and refine studio workflows.
  • Oversee the operation of camera and technical equipment.
  • Help in selecting the best ecommerce images for use.

Requirements In The Position Of Assistant photgrapher:

  • A degree in photography or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a fast-paced, studio environment.
  • Strong understanding of lighting and photoshoot setups.
  • Experience with image retouching and briefing retouchers.
  • Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively both within a team and independently.
  • Prior experience in apparel photography is a plus.
